From Sarah Daniele, ‘Interior Designer’, to Tech Start-Up and Co-Owner of Mydoma. Just a few short years ago, Sarah needed a design platform to support her business. With the support of her husband, the first iteration of Mydoma was ‘born’.
As a concept, Mydoma was something that all designers wanted ‘in on’. Sarah ran with this, and just kept on building like a total badass.
Sarah describes the pain and fear she felt when she closed the doors on her design business, but took on the challenges (and learning), of selling new software (and totally different products) as a tech company!
About Our Guest
Sarah Daniele is the CEO and co-founder of Mydoma Studio. Sarah has 10 years interior design industry experience in residential kitchen and bath and design-build. The first version of Mydoma Studio was built to fulfill a personal business need and it was through this experience she learned first hand that her peers were looking for an intuitive client and project management software. It was the encouragement of Sarah’s peers that she semi-retired her designer hat, turned tech CEO and built Mydoma Studio for the interior design industry.
Sarah is passionate about building tools and technology to allow interior designers to grow their businesses. Sarah and Mydoma Studio have been featured on the popular A Well Designed Business Podcast, in Home Accents Today, Editor at Large, and Kitchen & Bath Design News.
